How To Acquire New Clients?

A good rule of thumb and what I explain to my clients (and anyone who will listen) is that a potential NEW client or lead will have to see your name/product/service at least 12 times before making a decision to learn more and buy.

Another thing....people will only remember one or two people to recommend for said service or product.

MY BUSINESS BACKSTORY

My business started off as a filming side hustle in college. I would film little commercials of local businesses, college events, fashion shows, and weddings. Later, I began to learn more about photography, graphic design, website design, and marketing. I provide a great service for my clients through continued education. Recently, I just learned email marketing and have applied new ways for my clients to garner more leads (potential clients). After 10+ years, I'm now working full-time helping my clients with their media and marketing needs - @mathis.media.

5 WAYS TO ACQUIRE NEW CLIENTS

Now the moment you've been waiting for...

1 - Work With Those In Your Network - If you are a member of any group or online group remember that is a place to share your expertise and client testimonies to garner future clients.

2 - Share. Share. Share. - Share your work online often. Share your products online often. Share your story and how your service/product helped your clients.

3 - Build Your Personal Brand & Company's Brand - Be sure your branding and messaging are easily understood so that your clients and future clients understand what you do.

4 - Make It Easy For People To Work/Buy With You - If I am on your website or social platforms it should be easy for me to get in contact with you and/or buy what you offer.

5 - Remember This - People only like to work with people they KNOW. LIKE. & TRUST. You have to share a little about yourself for people to KNOW you. Share your why and tell your story. Once people know you they will begin to LIKE you. Potential clients will follow you on social media and like your work/products. This is where your content marketing has to have a purpose and strategy. Your website and social media should have a great flow, social proof, and represent your brand and messaging well. They will begin to TRUST you.
